Installation instructions

1. Mounting the Control Box

1. Remove the bulb/brick/cord system and control box from packaging.
2. Select a sturdy piling or mounting surface near your GFCI outlet.
o The power cord length is approx. 4 ft.
3. Align the four screw holes (one in each corner).
4. Drill screws through the control box into the piling.

⚠️ Do NOT plug in the control box yet.

2.  Connecting the Light

1. Remove zip ties from the light cord.
2. Connect the male plug from the bulb cord to the female plug on the control box.
3.  Tighten the screw ring by hand.
4. Plug the control box into the GFCI outlet.
5. Let the bulb illuminate for 10 seconds, then unplug the control box.
6. You are now ready to place the bulb in the water.

3. Placing the Bulb in the Water (review carefully)

1. Adjust the weight system so the bulb floats 3–8feet below the surface.
2. Slide the weight brick up or down the cord to achieve height.
3. Tighten both flanges so the weight does not slip.
4. Hold the brick in your left hand and bulb in your right hand firmly.
5. If placing the bulb more than 3-5 feet from your dock, use a boat, paddle board float to the desired location and place the bulb gently into the desired location.  If placing close to your dock or in your boat slip, kneel down and gently place the bulb in the water in the desired location.  (tossing or throwing the bulb to the desired location may result in breakage, which is not covered under warrenty)
6. Plug the control box back into the GFCI.
7. Any extra cord can be placed in the water and rest on the sea/lake bed by the bulkhead.

The light automatically turns on approximately 5 minutes before or after sunset.  If you have any questions call us at 281.7245.9914.
