General Terms

  • This warranty covers manufacturer defects in parts only.

  • Labor, service fees, and shipping costs are not included.

  • If service is requested at your home (in our service area), an upfront service fee starting at $99.95 + tax will apply.

  • Warranty applies only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.

  • UWGFL reserves the right to use refurbished or reconditioned parts for warranty repairs.

Note: Warranty does not cover bulb breakage, damage caused by boats, propellers, anchors, fishing hooks, power surges, or natural disasters (hurricanes, floods, lightning, etc.).

Limited Warranty Statement

 

UWGFL warrants that its products are free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal use, for the warranty period listed above. This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Transit damage

  • Negligence, misuse, abuse, or accidents

  • Improper installation, maintenance, or storage

  • Environmental/corrosive conditions or natural elements

  • Power surges, improper electrical supply, or failure to follow instructions/codes

  • Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications

  • Acts of God (fire, flood, hurricane, lightning, etc.)

 

Remedies

If a product proves defective during the warranty period:

 

  • UWGFL will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product.

  • Shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • All warranty claims require proof of purchase and a completed Warranty Return Form.

  • Replacement parts or products will carry the remainder of the original warranty period based on the orginal purchase date.

 


UWGFL is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including labor, travel, downtime, or lost profits.

 

Returns & Refunds (First 30 Days)

  • Products may be received by UWGFL within 30 days of purchase.

  • Items must be shipped back with the printed Warranty Return Form .

  • A 20% restocking fee applies if the product is tested, found to be fully functional, and in its original condition.

  • Refunds are issued by check after inspection.

Custom Orders (Final Sale)

  • Any product that has been customized or modified from its original shape, form, or design is considered a custom order.

  • Examples: Adding a shield to an overhead fishing light or altering housing/enclosure components.

  • All sales of custom orders are final upon purchase. No refunds, exchanges, or returns are permitted.

  • Custom orders are excluded from the standard return policy but remain eligible for applicable warranty coverage on manufacturer defects (unless the customization itself caused the defect).

 

Additional Terms

  • This warranty applies only to purchases made after the effective date listed above.

  • UWGFL reserves the right to modify or update warranty terms. Changes apply to all purchases made on or after the effective date of the revised policy.
